"A Batter's Eye" (Lou Gehrig & Mickey Mantle)

14x18 Mixed Media - Acrylic Paint, digital stencil and ink on birchwood, ready to hang. 

The interpretation is left up to the viewer but to me, I wanted to have Gehrig looking at the bats in a way that reflected what he saw in the potential of an ordinary bat and not just for himself, but for the generations of talent to follow in his footsteps (I.e., Mantle)
